Director, Consolidations & Reporting
**Wyndham Destinations** is searching for a Director of Consolidations &
Reporting in Orlando, FL. The Director, Consolidations & Reporting is
responsible for leading the E&R month and quarter-end close processes, as
well as ensuring that all monthly SOX documentation is prepared timely and accurately. He/she will be responsible for providing accounting
and reporting support to management and the regional finance teams and assist
in purchase accounting and related accounting position papers for newly
acquired entities, as well as assisting in the integration of acquired entities.
He/she will also be responsible for providing various reports to Finance
management as well as various corporate groups (Internal and External Reporting)
and will lead various special accounting projects. Additionally, he/she
will be involved with helping to develop accounting policies and ensuring
regional compliance.


Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


1. 50% Global Consolidation & Reporting

2. Lead and direct the month-endclose and consolidation process, including the issuance of internal andregional reporting calendars, conducting regional financial statement analysis andthe review and consolidation of various internal reporting deliverables.

3. Oversee the monthly reportinganalyses and reviews (including but not limited to the detailed BS analyses,P&L, Cash Flow, CTA and intercompany reviews) to ensure all assessments areconducted timely and that all issues or questions are resolved and documentedefficiently and effectively.

4. Lead the review of themonthly currency assessment. Completed through various analyses, such asassessing the forecasted vs actual hedge position reports, validating that thehedge positions are appropriately reflected on the financial statements andthat the P&L impact, driven by the transactional BS revaluations, isappropriately reflective of the monthly currency movement. Business partnerwith the BU's and Treasury to investigate and remediate any issues.

5. Key business units contactfor trouble shooting and guidance regarding the population of HFM and FDM.

6. Validate that the finalaccounting methodology is appropriately reflected within the BS, P&L and CashFlow for any specific guidance provided to the regional finance teams on variousaccounting issues, new revenue streams, legal entity liquidations, acquisitionsand other non-recurring transactions.

7. Review the required monthlyand quarterly reporting deliverables to Corporate and ensure compliance withall reporting and deliverable deadlines.

8. Assist in the review ofthe Form 10K and Form 10Q, and act as a key stakeholder in preparing theEarnings Release and Script commentary related to E&R. Lead in thecompilation of support packages and MD&A.

9. Direct the completionof US governmental census requirements, as well as review regional statutoryand tax filings.

10. 20% Technical Accounting

11. Business partner withTechnical Accounting and the regional finance teams by providing guidance onaccounting issues, new revenue streams and other non-recurring transactions.

12. Create, review and maintainaccounting policies to ensure they comply with US GAAP. Act as key lead in assessing new US GAAPguidance and directing/coordinating implementation.

13. Draft accountingposition papers for various non-recurring transactions, as required, andconclude as such in the non-routine process.

14. Lead theliquidation/dissolution process of dormant entities and present to uppermanagement for approval.

15. Key stakeholder in thereview of purchase accounting related matters for newly acquired entities andtheir integration subsequent to acquisition.

17. Oversee process improvementefforts

18. Own the monthly Chartof Account process including approving all additions and changes in HFM, FDMEE,Oracle and Essbase.

19. Ensure compliance withthe Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Lead in thedesign, implementation and review of controls and procedures, includingcoordinating with internal and external auditors during their audits and reviews.

20. Liaison and support theFinancial Systems team on implementations, upgrades and other systems changes (HFM,FDM, Oracle and Essbase), as well as oversee acquisition integration.

21. Business partner withthe FP&A team in assessing pre and post close forecast variances, as wellas ensuring both parties of informed of key financial and businessdevelopments.

22. Business partner withTax on various accounting and tax initiatives, such as reorganizations and theimplementation of new guidance.

23. Key special project lead- performance currency, devaluation and impairment analyses, intercompanynetting and cross selling initiatives.

24. Manage multiple staff,overseeing their productivity, engagement and professional development.




**Scope/Financial Responsibility**


E&R has a $250M annual EBITDA target and $200M
free cash flow that the group is responsible for forecasting and tracking.





**TravelRequirements**



**10% - Occasional travel to regions toassist with their forecasting** **processes,** **special projects and the integrationof acquisitions as appropriate**

**MinimumRequirements and Qualifications**


a) Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA required



b) Minimum of 10 years' experience: a mix of progressive experience
in Public and Private accounting preferred



c) Strong knowledge of US GAAP and strong analytical skills. Experience
with SEC reporting requirements



d) Knowledge of Hyperion/HFM preferred. Ability to design and maintain reporting to
meet the needs of the business



e) Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines. Must be able to adapt to changing requests
and prioritize workload.

g) Strong leadership abilities and experience leading a team
of professionals in a dynamic and fast paced environment



h) Strong organizational and communication skills



i) Innovative team player that challenges current processes
