**Wyndham Vacation Ownership** is currently seeking an **Enterprise Data Modeler** in Orlando, Florida. As part of the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) initiatives the Enterprise Data Modeler will work within the Enterprise Architecture team and play an integral role in impacting architecture and design of Business Intelligence (BI), Analytics and Enterprise Data Marts/Warehouse (EDM/W) platforms across the organization. The individual will translate strategic requirements into a usable enterprise information architecture, which may include an enterprise data model, associated metamodel, common business vocabulary, ontologies and taxonomies, which will then be used to guide enterprise solution development and achieve consistency of information assets across the enterprise application portfolio. Work in collaboration with Enterprise, Data and Solutions Architects to help define, design, and oversee implementation of standards and best practices involved in BI, analytics, data modeling, describing data entities and relationships, as well as supporting metadata for logical architectures. Work with the business stakeholders and BI project teams by applying knowledge of best practices to guide the project teams

**Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Develop enterprise conceptual, logical data models and semantic views across organization's strategic and near term portfolio initiatives. Support EDM/W efforts to define, implement enterprise logical models

+ Collaborate and partner in design and gathering of business needs for a BI/Analytics and Enterprise Data Mart and Warehouse strategies.

+ Interact closely with business analysis teams, Integration and BI Reporting teams to ensure understanding of proper use of data models and perform data model design review sessions model

+ Partner with Business Analysts to complete data analysis, data profiling and data sourcing decisions

+ Partner with Data Architect to define, design, and implementation of standards and best practices involved in BI, analytics, modeling, describing data entities and relationships, as well as supporting metadata for logical architectures.

+ Develop a thorough understanding of the data definitions, domain values, data relationships, business rules, sources and data integration for each subject area

+ Participate in BI, Analytics and Database product evaluations, RFP's, POC's and business decisions and participate in establishing BI/Analytics COE


+ Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline

**Certification and Training requirements**

+ DAMA Certification is a plus

+ Experience with full Software Development Lifecycle methodologies. Agile (Plus)

+ Proficiency and training with Enterprise Data Modeling/Process Modeling Tools

**Knowledge and skills**

+ Participate in evaluating business and data requirements, working with BI, analytics teams and business to provide solutions to end users

+ Guide the Business Intelligence, Reporting teams to develop a data model that conforms to consistent methodologies, standards and industry best practices

+ Participate to develop and nurture the overall logical & physical Data warehouse/Data-mart data model and WVO data architectures

+ Provide technical guidance to members of the BI and reporting teams to deliver on-time, on-cost, on-requirements and on-quality

+ Understanding of Business Process Management, Business Process Design, and Change Management.

+ Strong Development experience or background.

+ Very strong communication skills. Ability to interface and communicate with all levels of management and internal and external customers.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Analytical, problem solving and planning ability.

**Technical Skills**

+ 7+ Years of professional IT experience

+ 4+ BI reporting and data analysis experience

+ 5+ years of intensive experience in the Analysis, Design, Implementation and Support of complex BI, EDW and analytics solutions

+ Expert level understanding of relational database concepts, dimensional database concepts and database architecture and design (normalization, de-normalization, star-schema, Kimball, Inmon, etc.)

+ Deep understanding of data warehouse approaches, industry standards and industry best practices

+ Experience and knowledge of RDMS data stores

+ Experience with Cloud based DS (AWS, Azure, Salesforce etc.), NoSQL experience (Key Value, Columnar, Graph, etc) is a plus

**Job experience**

+ 5+ Years of hands on experience with modeling and DW technologies

+ 4+ Years: Experience in any one or more major BI and DW products

+ Experience in Relational Database including database design & expert advanced SQL writing

+ Worked as business and IT conduits to help develop productive reporting and decision making models for business benefit
