Manager, Quality Assurance
**Wyndham** is currently seeking a **Manager of Quality Assurance** in Orlando, Florida. The Manager, Quality Assurance is responsible for the availability, reliability, dependability and quality of all production deliverables relative to Oracle EBS Financial and HRMS applications. The QA Manager will work closely with product owners, project managers and business partners to ensure operational change effect, change execution and post change validation.


The successful candidate will drive the overall QA and Automation strategy and manage a team of highly skillful QA individuals who will be responsible for manual, automated and performance testing. He//She will have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain in technical and non-technical terms effectively. He/she will successfully organize and prioritize defects and deliverables to meet the business needs of the organization and will be expected to deliver tasks with tight deadlines. The goals expected to be achieved by the individual are: complete tasks accurately and on-time as assigned, meet support of SLAs, show consultative skills by understanding what the end user is trying to accomplish so they can provide alternative solutions and anticipate future needs.


**Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**


+ Manage a team of onshore and offshore resources towards QA deliverables including project and release testing, test documentation and automation

+ Strong QA and techno-functional skills to be able to Manage and drive the QA Strategy, application test execution, and reporting

+ Drive Performance, functionality and reliability of the Oracle Financials and HRMS Applications

+ Drive Release and Project Governance through Quality Gates established with collaboration across Development, QA and Infrastructure teams

+ Maintain key KPIs and demonstrate/report measurement and progress in a periodic fashion

+ Drive Release summaries, inclusive of scores, lesson learnt and financials

+ Ability to review functional specifications for risks or design flaws and provide solutions to develop and implement.

+ Manage User Acceptance Testing including Coordination, Test Planning, Test Scripting, Defect reporting/remediation, prioritization and adherence to entrance/exit criteria

+ Work in conjunction with Business, Release Management, Change Management, Development, and Continuous Integration to ensure all development and testing is orchestrated in a uniform fashion

+ Actively participate in application upgrades, fully understand new and enhanced functionality delivered by the upgrade, become familiar with the upgrade test scripts, and provide reliable post-upgrade support

+ Analyze and research Oracle patches, determine the need for regression testing, coordinate testing tasks with internal customers, and follow existing SDLC practices

+ Responsible to test and validate system integrations and facilitating system/integration/user testing, training and documentation

+ Interface with Business Users/Super Users, and members of various IT and project teams to improve synergies in business process documentation and test scripts


+ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Engineering with over 8 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified above

+ Minimum 3 years leadership experience, managing onshore and offshore teams and conducting goals/performance reviews

+ Experience with Software and Staffing vendors, including SOWs, contracts and renewals

+ Demonstrated experience in automation tools including ALM, UFT, Selenium and Performance Center (LoadRunner) or similar products

+ Knowledge and understanding of multi-language and mobile testing and tools

+ Knowledge of Database concepts, FTP process, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Web Service, Forms, Reports, Self Service, Personalization, and API's

+ Knowledge of TOAD or SQL plus, XML Publisher, JDeveloper for supporting development, troubleshooting application extensions and enhancements

+ Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and management of metrics to measure and improve software processes, software deliverables and the final software product

+ Strong leadership skills that motivate team confidence to achieve and maintain application in a creative and effective manner

+ Solid understanding of SDLC, quality assurance concepts, best practices, and methodology

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and subject matter experts.

+ Must continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

+ The ability to develop relationships with Oracle Financials and HRMS end users and their managers that fosters confidence in your support.
