Reporting Analyst
**Wyndham Vacation Ownership** is currently seeking a **Reporting Analyst** also known as a **Legal Operations Analyst** in Orlando, Florida. The Operations Analyst is responsible for influencing and sometimes leading analytical studies and fulfills complex information requests. They will determine optimum methodology for retrieving and analyzing current and historical data. The Analyst will develop complex financial and statistical-based models to analyze business performance trends and insight into operational effectiveness and efficiency.

This position will provide consulting to operational leadership on trend analysis, process performance, output and results in an effort to influence improvement in key performance indicators (KPIs). Business metrics analyzed will include (but is not limited to), efficiency, capacity, quality and performance scorecard measures. Accountable for timeshare project cost tracking, budget analysis, month end analysis and variance reporting for the global budgets and monthly forecasting. This position will consult leadership to communicate observed trends and provide recommendations for improvement; assist in the production of statistical files and reports, and at times will liaison with other internal departments on problem mitigation issues. The Analyst may also have coordination responsibilities to work with external vendors. The candidate for this position must have good data analytics skills and strong consultative. All other duties as assigned based on business needs.

**Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ **Analyze** : Create a visual representation of the data and present that information back to the customer in a manner in which it can be understood. Customers range from Legal Managers to Legal Senior leadership. Understand both the data and the requirements with enough clarity to identify trends and any data that deviated from expectations. Operational decisions are made based on the results and the Analysts findings. Examples include changes in processes, redirection of resources, and changes in strategy. Knowledge and comprehension of Wyndham Vacation Ownership's source data tables and Brio/OBIEE necessary.

+ **Development** : Primarily responsible for developing new reporting and interpretation of new data based on customer needs for WVO's Legal Services Organization using various business intelligence tools. Ability to identify and define success with the process leaders, assist with clarifying requirements, construct the tool in a user friendly interface, and follow through implementation.

+ **Coordinate:** Meeting with customers, defining success, building solutions to suite customer needs, reviewing results with leadership and presentation back to customer. Partner with business on new initiatives, such as, new systems, system enhancements, metric/dashboard development and KPI development. This responsibility may involve initiatives with frequent meetings and with detailed work and actions items. Must be able document work and report out on progress to all stakeholders.

+ **Operational** : Begin to understand operational processes within the Title Services/Legal Services departments, in order to understand the needs and begin planning for solutions to create efficiencies and reduce duplicate efforts. Ability to review an SOP or documentation and derive clarifying questions to pose to the business customer to understand gaps and areas of opportunity within the process.


+ BS or BA degree preferred / Equivalent work experience acceptable

**Knowledge and skills**

+ Requires deep analytical skills

+ Working knowledge of Access/Oracle Databases, SQL and Excel

+ Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in various stages of completion

+ Strong motivation to learn, willingness to be a team player, yet operate independently as required

+ Ability to develop collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals

+ Highly motivated and challenge-oriented individual

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills via a variety of communication channels

+ Strong statistical and computer skills

+ Ability to manage changing priorities and self manage work flow to meet company and customer expectations

+ Ability to interact at all levels within the organization

+ Vacation ownership industry knowledge, preferred

**Technical Skills**

+ Ability to query data utilizing a SQL backend, an Microsoft Access database, etc

+ VBA experience preferred

+ High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

**Job experience**

+ 3+ years in analytical experience or business planning experience, preferred

+ 3 years industry experience
