**Senior Financial Analyst**


**Wyndham Vacation Ownership** is currently seeking a **Senior Financial Analyst** in Orlando, Florida. This position will support Club Accounting/Operations with financial data that will assist in the financial budgeting and forecasting used by the club accountants specific to the Clubs. Additionally, this position will help support data for other operational areas of the company. Which include the Contact Center and Title Services. This position works collaboratively with the Director, Management and the accounting staff in Club Accounting and in other operational areas to determine nature of data as it may relate to the expenses of the budget and potential adjustments needed. The position is also focused on potential issues in data from our operating systems and look for ways to optimize company and club profits.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ **Monthly Data Reporting** - Prepare ongoing monthly data analysis needed for financial reporting for Clubs, under the Wyndham Vacation Ownership umbrella. This also includes reports that support other operational areas such as Title/back office financial operations.

+ Develop analytical tools and models to assist management in visualizing impact of decisions and prepare ad hoc reporting as need

+ **Reporting & Analysis** - Provide ongoing variance analysis and research on financial data to help support G/L entries needed. This includes running data queries as needed and research on the data that help support the actual adjustments as needed

+ Process Improvement - Develop process flows, identify process constraights and implement improvements to the Department.

+ **Informational Data** - Coordinate with other department business analysts on the potential data and reporting available and any inherent flaws in said data. Once again the understanding of the data will help support and financial/operational decisions that are made.

+ Performs other duties as needed



+ Bachelor's degree in Finance or like experience.

**Knowledge and skills**

+ Excellent strategic, analytical and creative thinking aptitude in both an independent and team environment.

+ Working knowledge of financial and statistical analysis.

+ Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, be well organized, perform under stressful situations and communicative effectively.

**Technical Skills**

+ Advanced knowledge of excel required and access databases. Database and statistical modeling experience preferred.

**Job experience**

+ 4-5 years finance experience in a corporate environment.
