Sr. Director of Financial Systems
**Wyndham** is currently seeking a **Senior Director of Financial Systems** in Orlando, Florida. The Senior Director, Financial Systems is responsible for the successful delivery and on scope / on budget / on quality execution of multiple, key business unit (BU) global requirements, configuration and delivery of business capabilities and features for Oracle eBusiness Suite. This role ensures alignment of key business needs with application capability enablers while leading the team to optimize and leverage application out of box functionality alignment and provides feasibility assessments and estimations as needed to support BU acquisitions, new business models and needed feature / functionality to support their BU operations.

This role also provides recommendations for ways in which we can increase productivity of project delivery and project optimization ensuring quality prior to software being delivered to production. This leader will also conduct application rationalization efforts to ensure the application footprint remains optimal by assessing application lifecycle, eliminating end of life technologies and ensuring a state of the art and optimized application investment strategy.

This role provides full leadership and functional support for project development, provides business and technical consultation, research and analysis of business requirements. This leader coaches and supports his/her team to ensure all issues are communicated and mitigated, project plans are documented and tracked against to ensure successful project delivery. This role also collaborates with the appropriate Executive Sponsor and Executive Steering Committee to set strategy, confirm priorities and ensure operational alignment with business priorities.

This role is responsible to provide key input and recommendations for to the 3 - 5 year application strategy roadmap, analyzes emerging information technologies, researches and drives future vision architectural needs, partners with business BU colleagues to understand opportunities, positions options and influences directions to formulate and recommend technology plans to stay ahead of business capacity and capability demands and needs.

The Senior Director will partner with management and associates to insure integrity and security of all systems to comply with SOX and audit requirements as well as data integrity.

This role ensures quality delivery of software to the QA phase to minimize remediation and defect management. Once the software is delivered to QA, this role is accountable for resolution of prescribed defect resolution is required and will eliminate the reoccurrence in future software deliveries and minimize / eliminate future downtime and outages to increase operational efficiencies to ensure overall platform stabilization.

**Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Develop and Execute against a multi-year application strategy

+ Select and build an organizational model and talent management framework to deliver business capabilities aligned with our vision for financial applications.

+ Partner with multiple key business unit customers /stakeholders to understand business requirements, outline solutions options maximizing use of current application assets to improve customer experience.

+ Ensure the global applications are stable, achieve agreed upon performance levels and operational efficiency.

+ Grow and nurture the necessary talent, technology acumen and leadership skills as well as partner with peers to foster cross team collaboration and execution, ensuring optimized software development processes and best practices, processes and policies to ensure software quality excellence.

+ Ensure Demand Management processes are established and adhered to ensuring balanced resource utilization, proper prioritization and on scope, on time and on budget project delivery.

+ Demonstrated leadership to manage multiple Business Units, multiple functional teams, with diverse applications technologies to ensure overall project success

+ Proven ability to operate at Senior Executive Management levels

+ 10+ years' of demonstrated supervisory/leadership skills to motivate teams and enable teams to achieve the next level of excellence- both individually and as a team - growing expertise and talent

+ Strong ability to identify career opportunities and champion their team to the next level of success

+ 15+ years' of Oracle EBS experience in technical and /or functional Oracle EBS Financials (AR, AP, FA, CE, PO, PA, SLA & GL) implementation experience and end to end understanding of Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and HR modules and CRM is a plus.

+ 15+ years' experience in global applications execution and performance optimization

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Finance or higher

+ Certifications preferred in Oracle EBS Applications such as:

+ General Ledger Management

+ Order to Cash

+ Procure to Pay
