Technical Manager of Business Reporting & Analytics
**Wyndham** is currently seeking a **Technical Manager of Business Reporting & Analytics** in Orlando, Florida. The position of Technical Manager is a key hands-on technical position in the Business Reporting & Analytics group responsible for technical architecture, solution design, deployment/upgrade strategy, standards and guidelines, dimensional modeling, logical/physical data model design, database tuning/optimization, dashboards/report/ETL creation, project planning , configuration, implementation and system/ user documents for business intelligence (BI) and ETL applications. The individual should have familiarity with industry standard architecture artifacts and methodologies with the ability to clearly articulate technical designs in written communications.


**Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**


+ Architect and develop proof of concept/prototypes for Business Intelligence and Information delivery Applications/projects.

+ Assist with defining solution, formulate design and participate as the technical lead in the implementation of complex BI solutions to meet the needs of the organization.

+ Responsible for consulting with business users on business needs, translating business needs into requirements, and interfacing with internal team members and client to ensure successful delivery of client applications.

+ Ability to autonomously plan, lead and execute projects. Design end to end solution to meet business needs.

+ Possess familiarity with industry standard architecture artifacts and methodologies with the ability to clearly articulate technical designs in written communications.

+ Design and document BI solutions by preparing diagrams, logic charts and programming specifications as required.

+ Lead problem resolution tasks and document approach for support when applicable.

+ Analyze and proactively monitor current reporting/BI environment and recommend improvements

+ Work with Business users and partners to set up or perform training on BI tools and core competencies.

+ Act as expert in BI technologies and deployed tools

+ Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 support environment and work on all BI tools and technology used within the company.

+ Work on all departmental jobs as assigned by the manager and provide status reports, timesheets as required


+ Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science, scientific, business or technical field

+ At least 5 years of relevant experiences in delivering enterprise-wide BI, analytics and data warehouse solution using proven solution delivery methodology framework.

+ 5+ years of experience in data modeling skills designing both normalized and de-normalized dimensional data structures.

+ Strong knowledge in following Business Intelligence and data integration/delivery technologies.


+ OBIEE or any other alternate BI or data discovery tools (Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy, SSRS, Tableau, Qlikview, Spotfire)

+ Informatica or ODI


+ Strong knowledge in XML, SQL, PLSQL, SHELL scripting

+ Must be familiar with advance database techniques - such as CDC / Materialized View, Big Data, Engineered systems, Master Data Management, Data Governance and cloud technologies.

+ Must have strong database knowledge - ( Oracle / SQL Server /Teradata )

+ Demonstrated verbal and written analytical/problem solving, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential.

+ Demonstrates good personal time management skills, including punctuality, time reporting and completion of assigned tasks within agreed time frames

+ Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable regulations and Company operating procedures, processes, policies, and tasks.

+ Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
