**Wyndham** is currently seeking a **Vice President of the Quality Management Office** in Orlando, Florida. The Vice President of the Quality Management Office oversees the department responsible for Information Technology (IT) quality management practices, IT quality assurance activities, and management of the test environments needed to perform these activities. Position reports to SVP, Project Solutions and is accountable for managing all aspects of the Quality Assurance function including establishing standards and guidelines enterprise-wide, as well as reviewing procedures that will ensure the quality of all systems development projects initiated or maintained by the Information Technology department. The VP of the QMO will define and report on metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that indicate the quality of delivery to production as well as the cost of that quality delivery. This individual will be responsible for driving continuous improvement through best practices, toolset acquisition and strategic vendor partnerships.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Develop a quality assurance strategy, short term and long term goals aligned to the overall IT and organization to drive quality delivery of IT assets to production. This includes implementation of best practices, toolsets and vendor partners to delivery on these goals. Develop roadmaps for continuous improvement and drive completion of these roadmaps though the QMO team.

+ Lead a team responsible for executing the QMO strategy and goals including quality assurance, test automation, performance/load testing, test data management and test environment management. Overall accountability for quality delivery, team staffing and development, and vendor relationship management. This also includes driving strategic planning to drive advancements such as cloud/containerized test environments, automation and improvement of test data management to improve both speed of delivery and quality.

+ Define metrics and determine appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop an overall data collection process. Utilize metrics and KPIs to evaluate incremental and long term improvements in process to increase quality and reduce cost. Partner closely with delivery partners to influence quality in all aspects of the delivery lifecycle.

+ Develop and manage department financials

+ Establish and maintain strong IT and customer relationships with various stakeholders

+ Performs other duties as needed



+ Minimum Bachelors of Science in a technology field or equivalent work experience.

+ MBA or Masters in a technology field preferred

**Training requirements**

+ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred

+ ITIL or CMMI certification preferred

+ CSQA, CSTE or ISTQB certification preferred

**Knowledge and skills**

+ Ability to communicate and advocate for quality at Senior Leadership levels

+ Proven ability to define, roll out, champion, enforce and continually improve on process quality standards and delivery methodology compliance

+ Proven experience in spearheading and leading sweeping transformational / innovation programs and initiatives that impact the company bottom line and organizational goals

+ Ability to manage the total cost of quality compliance vs the cost of non-compliance

+ Knowledge of various delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Agile and DevOps and ability to align the QA organization to each

+ Proven ability to define, articulate and implement opportunities and initiatives that impact the company bottom line

+ Experience defining and measuring productivity and efficiency metrics and analytics

+ Ability to influence organizational policy toward the accomplishment of business objectives

+ High leadership, negotiation and team-building aptitude with ability to put pressure on objectives and milestones, create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among different teams.

+ Demonstrated ability to build relationships at a senior leadership level and negotiate with internal IT, business partners and external vendors.

+ Expert knowledge of software testing practices, qualifications and validation requirements

+ Experience negotiating contractual agreements and understanding of related legal implications

+ A thorough understanding of enterprise business technology environments and systems

+ Experience in financial management and budgeting.

**Technical Skills**

+ Experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira and Zephyr

+ Experience with test automation and performance tools such as HP UFT, LoadRunner and Selenium

+ Experience with environment management tools such as ServiceNow

**Job experience**

+ 10 years' experience in Information Technology

+ 5 years' experience leading a quality organization
