Vice President of Digital Transformation & Delivery
The newly formed **Wyndham Digital Innovation & E-Commerce** group has an opening for a **Vice President, Digital Transformation & Delivery.** Wyndham Digital is looking for people who are interested in re-imagining the vacation ownership experience by harnessing the power of digital technologies. The Digital team has broad responsibility to leverage digital technologies to build best-in-class customer experiences and maximize Wyndham's return on investment. As Vice President of Delivery, you will manage the agile delivery of digital products to drive growth for the company, creating great experiences for our owners, prospects, and accociates across our 5 banner brands.

We are seeking an individual who:

+ Brings experience from leading the delivery of digital products that drive revenue growth.

+ Can chart a course from our current-state process into a future state of customer-focused Agile delivery approaches.

+ Is an enthusiastic change agent who can articulate and deliver on an inspiring vision and has the patience to teach and evolve a large organization from a corporate waterfall delivery model to a fast-paced delivery environment where the expectations are high and scope is scaling quickly.

+ Is experienced working with external agencies to help them scope, plan, and deliver world-class products, hand-in-hand with our internal development teams.

**Essential Job Functions**

+ Delivery Strategy, Process Definition, and Rollout

+ Set the vision for the future of digital delivery, inspire the necessary change and put the structure in place to make it happen

+ Build, grow, and maintain a sustainable Agile delivery model, while adapting to external vendor partner's existing processes and internal IT existing processes

+ Define a suite of reports to measure team health, velocity, progress vs. goals, and overall delivery improvement

+ Recommend and implement necessary tools and training to advance progress and consistency across teams

+ Develop and lead training to educate teams and individuals and answer practical questions to help team members put their agile training into action

+ Manage the technology and tools used to support Agile delivery practices including JIRA, Confluence, Slack, etc.

+ Delivery and Vendor Management

+ Successfully plan and execute WVO's Digital portfolio and deliver the business value for each funded program

+ Lead portfolio and program level planning, budgeting, and resource/team forecasting

+ Guide vendor development partners to integrate and stay on track with internal goals

+ In partnership with WVO's cross-discipline Product teams, help define delivery targets for each quarter and successfully execute on quarterly expectations.

+ Ensure cross-team dependencies are exposed and scope across the end-to-end experience is well understood and sequenced

+ Oversee legal contracts and onboarding of new vendors and resources

+ Proven leadership experience to grow and lead a team of cross discipline talent

+ Promote and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, trust, and transparency across teams (both internal and external)

+ Provide continuous guidance on agile practices, roles and responsibilities, tools and techniques

+ Perform regular monitoring and suggest necessary course corrections

+ Provide necessary coaching to individual product teams in all aspects of Scrum, Kanban, story mapping, story slicing, etc.

+ Recruit, train, and lead a team of skilled Program Managers, Project Managers, and Scrum Masters to help teams mature in scrum development, be best-in-class facilitators and continuously iterate and improve our delivery of digital programs.

+ Help teams assess risk, anticipate and mitigate potential blockers.

+ Executive and Stakeholder Management

+ Communicate approach and progress to Senior Executives

+ Ensure that all relevant parties and key stakeholders are informed of project delivery status, critical paths, and risks

+ Develop and maintain relationships with key business owners, IT, and senior management

+ Support senior leadership and the technology organization in developing and improving product development, product management and project management practices Functional/Organizational Development.

+ Technical leadership

+ Oversight for operational web and CMS developers, responsible for front-end coding and CMS builds.

+ Translate business strategies and needs into technology-enabled capabilities, then planning their development, release, and maintenance

+ Establish and govern technology standards for the organization's web, digital, and eCommerce capabilities. Monitor and reinforce those standards in concert with IT.

+ Develop a team of highly talented and proactive front-end technologists

+ 15+ years in a leadership role in a medium to large-scale digital organization including web and mobile app development

+ Successful track record of leading Agile software implementations with a Marketing focus

+ Direct experience working with technology and tools used to support Agile practices - knowledge of JIRA is mandatory.

+ Technical degree (BA or BS) preferred or strong technical acumen

+ Senior experience facilitating organizational, mindset, and cultural change for Agile transformations

+ Enterprise, Team, and individual coaching skills

+ Strong understanding of Agile concepts including Scrum, Scaling Agile, SAFe, Product Development, Kanban, etc.

+ 5-10 years of experience mentoring and coaching Agile practitioners

+ Engaging facilitator and presenter, capable of conducting workshops with senior executives.

**Highly Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Awareness of and/or experience with multiple delivery approaches including waterfall, Agile, Kanban, CMMi, etc.

+ Recognized Agile Coaching certifications are preferred

+ SAFe Program Consultant 4.0 (SPC4), CSM, CSP, or CSPO certification

+ Organizational Change Management education and/or certification desirable
